01/09/10:
Shane announces departure from ThirteenCentKill

Yes, unfortunately this is true. Yesterday Shane told the band during an official band meeting his decision to leave the band after the show on Jan 16th in Oklahoma City. There are no disputes inside the band. Shane decided to leave TCK in order to be more involved with his family. TCK started the year 2009 with big projects and small expectations, as the year went on, more shows and time was needed to run the band and bring the name and the record to everyone's attention; Shane was big part of this massive promotion of the band, taking time away from his personal life.

The band supports this decision and understands that family is more important.

The future of TCK was at the least uncertain. The band has gone through a lot of changes and line-ups during the years. Right now, auditions are open. The band will move on.

We appreciate everything that Shane brought to TCK, it really makes us sad. We'll miss you, bro.

Pleasse visit our myspace.com and look for blog that Travis will post and leave your comments to us.

More updates to come.
