Review by Travis Inselman: first of all, MAJOR thanks to our brothers in Nursing Home Panty Raid for inviting us up to wichita and for running sound... the sound was amazing all night long.
Emerald City In Ruins - holy hell!!!! this was brutal... this four piece had a GREAT stage show as well as some phenomenal music... fast, brutal, pissed off... awesome!!!! these guys will be coming down to oklahoma some time, and i highly recommend you don't miss it!
next up was 13 cent kill... i had never heard these guys before..... in all seriousness, thanks to the sound guy, we sounded amazing! the set was played well, we put our heart into it and what few people were there seemed to enjoy it... i am very pleased with the way we played that night, and honestly believe we get better each show... played shocker live for only the 2nd time, and people were loving it!!!!
following us was our new friends from manhattan, ks Terror Tractor... i can't say enough about these guys... i fucking loved it! great live show... had me jammin, had me laughing, had me ready to go out and kick someone's ass.... the music was KILLER and the guys were nice dudes to boot... we most definitely can't wait to rock the fucking house with these guys again!!!
headlining the night were our friends, our brothers, Nursing Home Panty Raid... and just like the first time i saw them, i was AMAZED... the music is so unique, so angry, and just goes all over the place... the stage show is fun to watch and makes you watch each member at some point in time... beyond that i want to say, one more time... thank you so much for inviting us up to wichita, putting the show together, running sound, rockin out with us, and just overall being one of the coolest bands we get to hang out with... the plan is to bring these guys to oklahoma VERY soon... and if you miss it, YOU SUCK!!!!
to the small crowd of people who came out to support wichita's local music, and to the bar crew at the eagle's lodge - thanks so much... we will see you again
